Intacs® Cybersecurity SPICE® is an extension to the Automotive SPICE® framework. It is developed to address the special characteristics of cybersecurity aspects.
Since the introduction of more and more software in today vehicles, various successful attacks became public. As a result the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) has released two regulations (#155 and #156). These regulations are addressing the increasing risk of manipulated software in vehicles on the road.
ISO21434 is the corresponding norm for cybersecurity engineering of road vehicles. It addresses organization related standards as well as development related standards. Intacs® Cybersecurity SPICE® defines additional processes and best practices in order to assess the development related parts of the ISO21434.
