Cybersecurity SPICE® extension
(intacs® certified)
The intacs certified extension Automotive SPICE® Cybersecurity Engineering is designed to learn how to analyze and assess development processes regarding cybersecurity aspects.
The UNECE regulation R155 requires, among others, that the vehicle manufacturer identify and manage cybersecurity risks in the supply chain.
In 3 days, we will deep dive into the concept and processes of the Automotive SPICE® for Cybersecurity process assessment model (PAM). Participants acquire knowledge on how to apply the Cybersecurity SPICE® PAM and to become an intacs® certified Cybersecurity SPICE® Assessor.
Provide assessment results, appropriate to enable engineering organisation to meet their cybersecurity goals and support projects for process improvements based on assessment results.
A intacs® certified Instructor will take the participants through practical exercises and experiences. This training is certified under the International Assessor Certification Scheme (intacs®).
This training is the preparation course for the intacs® certified Cybersecurity SPICE® examination.

This training is designed as extension. It does not cover processes the basics of Automotive SPICE® PAM.
Target Audience
The training is designed for intacs® certified Process Expert and Assessors as well as everybody who wants to deepen the knowledge about this Automotive SPICE® extension, such as
- Quality and project team members who need to ensure that the requirements of this Automotive SPICE® extension are met within the project.
- Process Owners and process improvement team members who need to ensure that Automotive SPICE® requirements are covered by the organization’s process landscape.
Preconditions
Participants should have some basic knowledge about cybersecurity engineering.
Participants should have some professional experience in the automotive industry (e.g. software/system development, project management, quality management, etc.)
intacs® certified Process Experts and Assessors
Examination
This training leads to the Cybersecurity SPICE® extension exam at the end of the training. The exam fee will be charged on behalf of VDA QMC.
The exam is held in English. The regular duration of the exam is one hour. Examinees whose native language is not English receive 50% more exam time.
Information about the certification
To conduct ASPICE assessments according to the Cybersecurity SPICE® extension, participants must successfully pass the exam.
For online trainings, all materials are offered digitally. For in-person trainings, all materials are offered digitally.
General Terms and Conditions
Payment
Invoices are to be paid within 14 days. For trainings, payment must be received 7 days before the trainings starts. Different arrangements can be made.
Rebooking
Participants can name a replacement for the entire training course. Please get in contact with us before the training starts. This rebooking is free of charge.
Participants may also rebook for a different date or to select an other specific training. Please get in contact with us, at least a week before the training starts.
Date changes on behalf of a-spice.de
If a training cannot take place as planned, a-spice.de reserves the right to set a later training date. Changes will be communicated as early as possible. Any associated costs will not be reimbursed.
Cancellations
The following cancellation fees apply:
- Up to 30 days before the start of the training: 0% (full refund of the invoice amount)
- Up to 14 days before the start of the training: 50%
- Otherwise: 100% (no refund)
