This training is the preparation course for the intacs® certified Process Expert + Provisional Assessor Automotive SPICE® examination.
Instead of doing the Process Expert and Provisional Assessor Certification in two subsequent trainings this fast-lane training enables you to become intacs® certified Provisional Assessor in 7 days.
In this time, you will deep dive into the process and capability dimensions of Automotive SPICE®. Participants acquire knowledge and hints to support a certified Competent Assessor as a Co-Assessor during assessments and to optimize processes based on assessment results.
As a key to success, this training relys on active participation in the entire training. Participants will be given homework assignments to be presented during the training.
A intacs® certified Instructor will take the participants through practical exercises and experiences. This training is certified under the International Assessor Certification Scheme (intacs®).

This training does not cover processes for hardware development nor machine learning. These processes require dedicated extension trainings.
Target Audience
The training is designed for participants who want to do the Process Expert and Provisional Assessor training in one step.
The training is also designed for people planning on becoming certified assessors (N.B.: the certification as an intacs® certified Provisional Assessor is the prerequisite to continue with the next step in becoming an intacs® certified Competent Assessor).
Preconditions
Participants should have several years of professional experience in the automotive industry (e.g. software/system development, project management, quality management, etc.)
Examination
This training leads to the Automotive SPICE® Process Expert + Provisional Assessor exam. The exam fee will be charged on behalf of VDA QMC.
The exam is held in English. The regular duration of the exam is one hour. Examinees whose native language is not English receive 50% more exam time.
Passing the exam is a prerequisite for participation in the VDA-QMC certification process. The VDA QMC charges additional fees for certification.
Information about the certification
For the certification as an intacs®-certified Automotive SPICE® Provisional Assessor, participants must successfully pass the exam.
Participants apply for the certification at the VDA QMC after passing the exam. The VDA QMC will charge additional fees for the certification. Participants must register with VDA QMC within one year of successfully passing the exam. VDA QMC charges an additional fee for intacs® registration.
For online trainings, all materials are offered digitally. For in-person trainings, all materials are offered digitally.

Payment
Invoices are to be paid within 14 days. For trainings, payment must be received 7 days before the trainings starts. Different arrangements can be made.
Rebooking
Participants can name a replacement for the entire training course. Please get in contact with us before the training starts. This rebooking is free of charge.
Participants may also rebook for a different date or to select an other specific training. Please get in contact with us, at least a week before the training starts.
Date changes on behalf of a-spice.de
If a training cannot take place as planned, a-spice.de reserves the right to set a later training date. Changes will be communicated as early as possible. Any associated costs will not be reimbursed.
Cancellations
The following cancellation fees apply:
- Up to 30 days before the start of the training: 0% (full refund of the invoice amount)
- Up to 14 days before the start of the training: 50%
- Otherwise: 100% (no refund)
